T-Ball Coach Pitch Coaching & Safety Clinic

District 33 is proud to host a free Coaches and Safety Clinic for everyone in District 33. This Coaching Clinic is geared towards the T-Ball and CAPS level of play, this clinic will cover age appropriate drills, team management, and little league pedagogy. Great for both new and experienced coaches! All leagues welcomed. Serra Mesa Little League is hosting the clinics at their field located at Cabrillo Heights Park, 8308 Hurtlbut St. San Diego, 92123.

Coaching Clinic @ 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - T-Ball will be presented by Pete Famolaro (Allied Gardens Coach) and CAPS/Rookies will be presented by Danyell DiLena (District Coach Coordinator.) Learn how to run effective and fun practices. Learn how to teach basic skills to your players. This session will offer hands-on training and is valuable to first-time and experienced coaches. Bring a glove and dress in athletic gear. You can save a lot of time at check-in if you pre-register at 2019 District T-Ball / CAPS Coaching Clinic

Safety Clinic @ 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Steve Taylor (District Safety Officer) will present the Safety Clinic, Some of the topics that Steve will cover include: Evaluating injuries, initial treatment for injuries, basic first aid and concussion protocols. A separate sign up sheet will be handed out during the Safety Clinic.

Even though it is T-Ball / CAPS orientated, both Clinics meet the clinic requirements for District 33 tournament play.

You MUST sign in to get credit for attending a District and League approved clinic and to be eligible for District Tournament Play.
