Kearny Mesa Minors Finish 5th in D33 TOC

Kearny Mesa Minors Padres finished 3-2 in District 33 Tournament of Champions. The team finished 5th in the 14 team tournament defeating Sunshine (10-3), Murphy Canyon (15-4), and Lake Murray (15-6). The three victories were the most by the league in decades in a post-season tournament. The KM Padres also did not get "Mercy Ruled" in their two losses to Mission Trails (12-10) and Serra Mesa (7-4). San Carlos Rough Riders (5-0) defeated Rolando Smashers (3-2) 13-1 in the championship match Tuesday, 6/15.
