SAVE THE DATE- MORE ON CLOSING DAY CEREMONY, MAY 28TH

Closing Day Ceremony for Kearny Mesa Little League is scheduled for Saturday, May 28th. It is at this time where we will have our KMLL Annual Meeting, Board Elections & Award Presentations along with a fun-filled day of baseball, family, and friends!

The Closing Day Ceremony will start around 12:30 PM after the last game has ended*. Please have your players in uniform at the fields no later than noon so they can meet up with their teams and assemble on the field before the ceremonies. We encourage all players in attendance to wear their jersey tops to Closing Ceremonies. This is a great photo opportunity for teams receiving trophies and graduating players.

*Closing Day Schedule of Events:

• 9:00-11:00 AM - Yankees @ Sunshine
• 9:30 AM - Snack Shack Open, KMLL Board of Directors Ballot Open
• 9:30-11:30 AM – HotShots vs Lions @ Majors Field
• 10:00-11:30 AM – Slam Diego vs Diamonds @ Caps Field 
• 10:00-11:30 AM – T-Ball Olympics: Bad News Bears, Sluggers, Supersonics @ T-Ball Field 
• 12:30 PM - Welcome Address, Little League Oath, Parade of Teams, Trophies & Awards (T-Ball, CAPS, Minors, Majors)
• 1:00 PM – Activities including Bounce House, Face Paint, Last Ball Standing, Team Basket Auction, Fall Ball Registration, etc.
• 2:00 PM – Home Run Derby
• Board elections will run through the Closing Day Ceremony.

The Snack Shack will be open for Closing Day to serve food, snacks and drinks. We will have a lunch special for $4 that includes a hamburger or hot dog with drink & and chips. *Drinks may include soda, water, or small Gatorade.

• We will be auctioning off themed baskets from our teams to help fundraise for the league. Wait till you see these amazing baskets!
